Located in the very centre of Sainte Foy, Chalet Le Refuge is new to Time to Ski this season. Our guests are loving it and we have already taken three repeat bookings for next season! Those who have been lucky enough to see it, think it’s a fabulous chalet! But as the old adage goes, ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’, so we are offering big discounts for the available weeks in March in April so that you can come and try it for yourself.

Chalet Le Refuge
Chalet Le Refuge is a luxury five-bedroom property. It has two large balconies, one offering breathtaking views down the Tarentaise Valley and another looking over all the action on the learner pistes in front of the ESF office. And after you’ve enjoyed the views from the balcony, you can relax in the sauna before chilling out on the enormous comfy wrap around sofa in the lounge area. There’s a well equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking and you are right in the centre of Sainte Foy if you fancy going out for dinner or nipping out for a pre-dinner apéro.
Snow and Sunshine – There’s enough for everyone!
Sainte Foy benefits from being in the unique position of being a quiet family friendly resort which means we don’t have crowded pistes and we don’t have lift queues! And the aspect of the slopes means that our snow is well protected throughout the season, which combined with excellent piste management by the lift company and the piste bashers, we are skiing here until the end of April.
In March we start to see the beginnings of what we call ‘spring skiing’. We get a lot of gloriously sunny days and very cold nights, which means that the snow freezes overnight allowing the piste bashers to groom the pistes and have them waiting for us each morning with a perfect corduroy pattern on them.
As the sun comes up and warms the day, the snow softens and becomes dreamy to ski on! This can really be some of the best skiing you will get all season and what better way is there to top off a fabulous few hours, than to find yourself a nice sunny spot on a mountain restaurant balcony for lunch or a late afternoon apéro! Sainte Foy is the perfect ski resort for this, and it really is holiday skiing at its very best!
